This tour includes a guided visit to Mt. Fuji and a stay in a hotel with picturesque views of Hakone.
Departing from Tokyo, you will head towards the Mt. Fuji/Hakone via sightseeing bus. After the tour, you will have a chance to enjoy bathing in the hot springs. On the second day, you have free time until your bullet train leaves to explore the Hakone area with the included Hakone Two Day Pass, giving you free use of different types of transportation and exclusive discounts to make the most of your stay in Hakone.

ITINERARY

Day 1 : Tokyo - Mt. Fuji - Hakone

9:00 a.m. Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal (120 mins.) Fuji Visitor Center(20 mins.) Mt. Fuji 5th station (30 mins.)
Lunch Japanese-style lunch.
Kojiri Cruise on Lake Ashi (15 mins.) Hakone-en
Mt. Komagatake Ropeway (50 mins.)
4:00-6:00 p.m. Hotel in Hakone

Day 2 Hakone-Tokyo
Free until departure. Enjoy yourself with a 2-Day Free Pass which gives you a discount on entrance fees for more than 30 tourist facilities and a free ride on Hakone Mountain Railway, cable cars and buses in the Hakone area. Proceed to Odawara Station on your own by local bus or train.
5:00-7:00 p.m. Odawara Station (Kodama/40 mins.)
5:40-7:40 p.m. Shin-Yokohama Station/ Shinagawa Station /Tokyo Station


REMARKS

1. Multilingual audio guides are available in Korean, Chinese, German, and Spanish. They will be provided free of charge. We recommend that you make requests in advance to enjoy this special service. Units may not be available if your request is made at the last minute. One unit or more will be provided per group. (Depending on the conditions at the time your request is made, it may not be possible to provide one unit per person.)
2. The Mt. Komagatake Ropeway is skipped on the following days due to traffic conditions: May 2, 5, July 18, 23, 24, 30, 31, August 6, 7, 20, 21, 27, 28, September 3, 10, 19, 25, October 1, 10, 15, 22, 29, 30, November 5, 12, 19, December 30.
3. When the Fuji Visitor Center is closed or if the tour is behind schedule due to traffic conditions, the Fuji Visitor Center may be skipped.
4. The road to Mt. Fuji 5th station is sometimes closed due to heavy snows in the winter and the early spring. If this is the case, or if the tour is expected to be behind schedule due to operational reasons, you will go to the highest possible point.
5. We recommend you bring a coat or other warm clothing during spring, autumn and winter.
6. The tour will not be cancelled nor refunded if you are unable to see the full view of Mt. Fuji due to weather conditions.
7. Although the Komagatake Ropeway or the cruise on Lake Ashi may be omitted or substituted for as a result of traffic and weather conditions or other operational reasons, the tour will not be canceled nor will the tour fee be refunded. In the case that one or both of the destinations are omitted, you will enjoy one of the following alternatives: Narukawa Art Museum in Hakone, Hakone Check Point, Cruise on Lake Kawaguchi, Lake Kawaguchi Ropeway, Hakone En Aquarium, Hakone Shrine, and Hakone Ropeway (Owakudani Valley).
Your tour guide will finalize alternatives based upon careful consideration of tour logistics and other conditions.
8. Your tour guide may not accompany you back to Tokyo after Odawara Station for operational reasons. In this case, your guide will tell you how to go back to your hotel from Tokyo Station (Return by Shinkansen), or from Shinjuku / Ginza (Return by motorcoach).
9. A vegetarian menu is also available.
10. The tickets for the Shinkansen used on Day 2 cannot be changed to a Shinkansen other than the one listed on the ticket.
11. This tour is for overseas travelers only. Japanese citizens cannot participate by themselves.
12. No refunds will be given for the return ticket even if you have a JR Pass.
13. On Day 1, the hotel's shuttle bus may be used after the tour has ended and until arriving at the hotel.
